Core Street

Beginner Program
Core Street is a 25 lesson program that teaches the core self-defense system that Helio Gracie and members of the Gracie family have used over the last 100 years in defeating opponents that were bigger, stronger, and more athletic.
Core Street features over 100 techniques that teach students how to defend themselves in real street fight altercations against untrained attackers who are bigger and stronger using leverage, timing, and technique rather than brute strength.
In this program, students will develop a self-defense mindset, learn to use leverage over strength, develop their street reflexes, and develop foundational grappling skills.
Jiu-Jitsu Mastery

Advanced Program
Once students pass the Core Street test and earn their blue belt, students will refine their jiu-jitsu skills in the Jiu-Jitsu Mastery program.
Jiu-jitsu Mastery features the rest of the 1000+ techniques that exist in the art. In this program, students will learn the sportive side of jiu-jitsu in all 7 positions:
1. Mount
2. Side Mount
3. Guard
4. Half Guard
5. Back Mount
6. Leg Locks
7. Stand-up
Jiu-jitsu Mastery are 90-minute classes and consist of:
* Technique of the day
* Incremental Resistance Sparring
* Live Sparring (gi, nogi)
* Gi & Nogi sparring with gloves (once per week)
It usually takes about a year to go through all the techniques in this 7 position cycle. The first time through, students usually only retain about 15% - 20% of the information. The more times students go through the cycle, the more they retain.
By the time the student is ready to test for their black belt, students will have developed reflexes for both street fights and sport. We call this the street/sport switch. If you want to be a black belt that has developed this street/sport switch (not just sport), then you've come to the right place!
The most important part of Jiu-Jitsu Mastery training is safety. Students learn to spar in a safe manner and to care about their partner's safety just as much as their own safety. Students who do not train safely will be asked to leave the mat.
女柔術
ジョジュツ

Beginner Program(Women Only)
This program is identical to the Core Street beginner program except that we have added techniques that specifically deal with the common assaults perpetrated on women.
Jo-Jitsu features 30 lessons (over 100 techniques) which teach women the principles of using leverage, rather than brute force, to neutralize aggression by an attacker.
Once the student has has perfected the techniques and developed sufficient reflexes, the student may test for her blue belt. Once the blue belt has been earned, the student may continue her training in the Jiu-Jitsu Mastery program toward her journey to becoming a black belt.

3. If verbally attacked, first talk it out, then report to an adult, and finally tackle them.
4. Do not punch or kick the bully; take control first, then negotiate.
5. When forcing submission, negotiate using the minimum force necessary.
